1.Onthelastrefuelingoftheyear,addfuelstabilizer
tothefuelasdirectedbytheenginemanufacturer.
2.Runthemoweruntiltheenginestopsfromrunning
outoffuel.
3.Allowtheenginetorununtilitstops.Whenyoucan
nolongerstarttheengine,itissufcientlydry.
4.Removethewirefromthesparkplugandconnect
thewireontotheretainingpost.
5.Removethesparkplug,add1oz.(30ml)ofoil
throughthesparkplughole,andpullthestarterrope
slowlyseveraltimestodistributeoilthroughoutthe
cylindertopreventcylindercorrosionduringthe
off-season.
6.Looselyinstallthesparkplug.
7.Tightenallnuts,bolts,andscrews.
8.Chargethebatteryfor24hours,thenunplugthe
batterychargerandstorethemowerinanunheated
area.Ifyoumuststorethemowerinaheated
area,youmustchargethebatteryevery90days
(electric-startmodelsonly).
FoldingtheHandle
If,whilefoldingthehandleforstoringor
transportingthemower,youaccidentlybump
thekeyandengagethebladecontrolbar,the
enginecouldstartandrotatetheblade,causing
seriouspersonalinjury.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeybeforeyoufold
thehandle.
