towarmit.Warmoilowsbetterandcarriesmore

contaminants.

1.Movethemowertoalevelsurface.

2.RefertoPreparingforMaintenance.

3.Removethedipstick(Figure20).

4.Tipthemowerontoitssidewiththeairlterup

todraintheusedoiloutthroughtheoillltube

(Figure21).

5.Returnthemowertotheoperatingposition.

6.Pourabout3/4ofthecrankcasecapacityofoilin

thecrankcase.

7.Wait3minutesfortheoiltosettle.

8.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.

9.Insertthedipstickfullyintotheoillltube,then

removethedipstick.

10.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick.

Note:IftheoillevelisbelowtheAddmarkonthe

dipstick,slowlypourasmallamountofoilintothe

oillltubeandrepeatsteps8through10untiltheoil

levelisattheFullmarkonthedipstick(Figure20).

Important:Donotoverllthecrankcasewith

oilandruntheengine.Draintheexcessoiluntil

theoillevelonthedipstickreadsFull.

11.Installthedipstickintotheoillltubesecurely.

12.Disposeoftheusedoilproperlyatalocalrecycling

center.
