StoppingtheMachine
1.Releasethecontrollever.
WARNING
Whenthekeyisintheplugreceptacle,themachine
isoperational.Someonecouldaccidentallystart
themachineandseriouslyinjureyouorother
bystanders.
Alwaysremovethekeyfromtheplugreceptacle
whenleavingthemachineunattended,evenfor
ashortperiodoftime.
2.Removethekeyfromtheplugreceptacleifthemachinewill
beunattendedforanyperiodoftime.
Note:Storethekeyinaplaceoutofthereachof
children.
3.Chargethebattery.
Important:Alwayschargethebatteryimmediately
afterusingthemachine.Ifyoudonotchargethe
batteryaftereachuse,youwillshortenthebattery
life.See2ChargingtheBattery(page5).
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
WARNING
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouintocontact
withthemovingblade,causingseriousinjury.
Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.Setall4wheelstothesame
height(Figure10).
Note:Movethecutting-heightleversforwardtoraisethe
machine;movethecutting-heightleversrearwardtolower
themachine.
