1.Removethedipstick,wipeitclean,andinsertitintothe
oilllerneck,butdonotscrewitin(Figure9).

oilwithanAPIserviceclassicationofSJorhigher.)
Note:Ifyouoverlltheengine,poursomeoiloutof
itasdirectedinChangingtheEngineOil.
3.Installthedipsticksecurely.
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
WARNING
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious
injury.
•Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
•Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,themuferwillbe
hotandcanseverelyburnyou.Keepawayfromthe
hotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.Setthefrontwheelsto
thesameheightastherearwheels.
Note:Toraisethemachine,moveallthecuttingheight
leversrearward.Tolowerthemachine,moveallthecutting
heightleversforward(Figure10).
