AdjustingtheSelf-PropelDrive
Wheneveryouinstallanewself-propelcableorifthe
self-propeldriveisoutofadjustment,adjusttheself-propel
drive.
1.Turntheadjustmentknobcounterclockwisetoloosen
thecableadjustment(Figure23).

•Stayintheoperatingposition(behindthe
handle)whentheengineisrunning.
•Donotallowbystandersinthearea.
Forbestresults,cleanthemachinesoonafteryouhave
completedmowing.
1.Lowerthemachinetothelowestcuttingheightsetting.
RefertoAdjustingtheCuttingHeight(page8).
2.Movethemachineontoaatpavedsurface.
3.Washouttheareaunderthereardeectorwherethe
clippingsgofromtheundersideofthemachinetothe
grassbag.
Note:Washouttheareawiththebag-on-demandin
boththefullyforwardandfullyrearwardpositions.
4.Attachagardenhosethatisconnectedtoawater
supplytothewashoutportonthemachine(Figure24).
