TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,ToroWarrantyCompany,pursuantto
anagreementbetweenthem,jointlypromisetorepairtheToroProduct
listedbelow,whenusedforresidentialpurposes*,ifdefectiveinmaterials
orworkmanshiporifitstopsfunctioningduetothefailureofacomponent,
fortheperiodlistedbelow.
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,ToroWarrantyCompany,pursuanttoan
agreementbetweenthem,guaranteethatyourT oroGTS(Guaranteedto
Start)engine,whenusedforresidentialpurposes*,willstartontherstor
secondpull,providedtheroutinemaintenancerequiredintheOperator’s
Manualhavebeenperformed,orwewillxitfreeofcharge.TheGTS
StartingGuaranteedoesnotapplyundercommercialuse.
Thiswarrantycoversthecostofpartsandlabor,butyoumustpay
transportationcosts.
*Residentialpurposesmeansuseoftheproductonthesamelotasyourhome.Useatmorethan
onelocationisconsideredcommercialuseandthecommercialwarrantywouldapply.

2.Bringtheproductandyourproofofpurchase(salesreceipt)tothe

itiscoveredunderwarranty.

TheseToroProductsusedforcommercial,institutional,orrentaluse,
arewarrantedfor45daysagainstdefectsinmaterialsorworkmanship.
Componentsfailingduetonormalweararenotcoveredbythiswarranty.

OwnerResponsibilities
YoumustmaintainyourToroProductbyfollowingthemaintenance
proceduresdescribedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,
whetherperformedbyadealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Parts
scheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),
arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothescheduledreplacementtime
forthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenanceandadjustmentscan
begroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.
ItemsandConditionsNotCovered
Thereisnootherexpresswarrantyexceptforspecialemissionsystem
coverageandenginewarrantycoverageonsomeproducts.Thisexpress
warrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:
•Costofregularmaintenanceserviceorparts,suchaslters,fuel,
lubricants,oilchanges,sparkplugs,airlters,bladesharpening
orwornblades,cable/linkageadjustments,orbrakeandclutch
adjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartwhichhasbeenaltered,misused,neglected,or
requiresreplacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofproper
maintenance
•Pickupanddeliverycharges
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealer
•Repairsnecessaryduetofailuretofollowrecommendedfuel
procedure(consultOperator'sManualformoredetails)
–Removingcontaminantsfromthefuelsystemisnotcovered
–Useofoldfuel(morethanonemonthold)orfuelwhichcontains
morethan10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-use
overonemonth

–Cooltemperaturestartssuchasthosefoundinearlyspringand
lateautumn
–Improperstartingprocedures-ifyouarehavingdifcultystarting
yourunit,pleasechecktheOperator'sManualtoensurethat
youareusingthecorrectstartingprocedures.Thiscansavean
unnecessaryvisittoanAuthorizedToroServiceDealer.
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorized
ToroServiceDealerusingT oroapprovedreplacementparts.Repairbyan
AuthorizedToroServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliablefor
indirect,incidental,orconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththe
useoftheToroProductscoveredbythesewarranties,includingany
costorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduring
reasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletionof
repairsunderthesewarranties.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential
damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabove
exclusionsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother
rightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStatesorCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedToroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStatesor
CanadashouldcontacttheirT oroDistributor(Dealer)toobtainguarantee
policiesforyourcountry,province,orstate.Ifforanyreasonyouare
dissatisedwithyourDistributor'sserviceorhavedifcultyobtaining
guaranteeinformation,contacttheToroimporter.Ifallotherremediesfail,
youmaycontactusatToroWarrantyCompany.
