Operation Filling the Fuel Tank DANGER Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive. A fire or explosion from gasoline can burn you and others. • To prevent a static charge from igniting the gasoline, place the container and/or mower directly on the ground before filling, not in a vehicle or on an object. If the grass bag is on the mower, remove it (refer to Removing the Grass Bag) before recycling the clippings. If the side discharge chute is on the mower, remove it and lock the side discharge door (refer to Removing the Side Discharge Chute) before recycling the clippings.
Important: The mower has a safety switch that prevents you from starting the mower unless you first install the grass bag securely on the mower. If the side discharge chute is on the mower, remove it and lock the side discharge door (refer to Removing the Side Discharge Chute) before bagging the clippings. WARNING The blade is sharp; contacting the blade can result in serious personal injury. Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position.

If the bag is on the mower, remove it and insert the recycle plug (refer to Removing the Grass Bag) before side-discharging the clippings. • Alternate the mowing direction. This helps disperse the clippings over the lawn for even fertilization. • If the mower strikes an object or starts to vibrate, immediately stop the engine, disconnect the wire from the spark plug, and examine the mower for damage. • For best performance, install a new blade before the cutting season begins. • Replace the blade when necessary with a Toro replacement blade.
Preparing for Maintenance 1. Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. 2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug (Figure 39) before performing any maintenance procedure. Před mulčováním vyjměte ze sekačky sběrací koš (viz kapitola Vyjmutí sběracího koše). Pokud má sekačka boční vyhazovací kanál, před mulčováním jej vyjměte a uzamkněte dvířka bočního vyhazovacího otvoru (viz kapitola Vyjmutí bočního vyhazovacího kanálu).
Důležité: Sekačka je vybavena bezpečnostním spínačem, který zabrání uvedení sekačky do chodu, pokud jste nejdříve spolehlivě nenamontovali sběrací koš na sekačku. Hachage des feuilles • Si la couche de feuilles fait plus de 13 cm d'épaisseur, réglez les roues avant un ou deux crans plus haut que les roues arrière. • Ralentissez la vitesse de déplacement si les feuilles ne sont pas hachées assez menues. • Après la tonte, 50 % de la pelouse doit être visible sous la couche de feuilles hachées. À cet effet, vous devrez peut-être repasser plusieurs fois sur les feuilles.
Remplacement du filtre à air Périodicité des entretiens: Toutes les 25 heures Remplacez le filtre à air une fois par an ou plus souvent s'il y a beaucoup de poussière (voir Préparation à l'entretien). 1.
