Conditions
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,ToroWarrantyCompany,pursuanttoanagreement
betweenthem,jointlypromisetorepairtheToroProductlistedbelow,whenusedfor
residentialpurposes*,ifdefectiveinmaterialsorworkmanshiporifitstopsfunctioning
duetothefailureofacomponent,fortheperiodlistedbelow.
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,ToroWarrantyCompany,pursuanttoanagreement
betweenthem,guaranteethatyourToroGTS(GuaranteedtoStart)engine,when
usedforresidentialpurposes*,willstartontherstorsecondpull,providedtheroutine
maintenancerequiredintheOperator’sManualhasbeenperformed,orwewillxit
freeofcharge.TheGTSStartingGuaranteedoesnotapplyundercommercialuse.
Thiswarrantycoversthecostofpartsandlabor,butyoumustpaytransportationcosts.
*Residentialpurposesmeansuseoftheproductonthesamelotasyourhome.Useatmorethan
onelocationisconsideredcommercialuseandthecommercialwarrantywouldapply.

IfyouthinkthatyourT oroProductcontainsadefectinmaterialsorworkmanship,or
ifanormal,able-bodiedadultcannolongerstartyourproduct'sengineinoneor
twopulls,followthisprocedure:

OwnerResponsibilities
YoumustmaintainyourToroProductbyfollowingthemaintenanceprocedures
describedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,whetherperformedby
adealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Partsscheduledforreplacementasrequired
maintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothe
scheduledreplacementtimeforthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenance
andadjustmentscanbegroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.
ItemsandConditionsNotCovered
Thereisnootherexpresswarrantyexceptforspecialemissionsystemcoverage
andenginewarrantycoverageonsomeproducts.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnot
coverthefollowing:
•Costofregularmaintenanceserviceorparts,suchaslters,fuel,lubricants,oil
changes,sparkplugs,airlters,bladesharpeningorwornblades,cable/linkage
adjustments,orbrakeandclutchadjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartwhichhasbeenaltered,misused,neglected,orrequires
replacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofpropermaintenance
•Pickupanddeliverycharges
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedToroService

thecorrectstartingprocedures.Thiscansaveanunnecessaryvisitto
anAuthorizedToroServiceDealer.
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealerusingToroapprovedreplacementparts.RepairbyanAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliableforindirect,
incidental,orconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththeuseofthe
ToroProductscoveredbythesewarranties,includinganycostorexpense
ofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduringreasonableperiodsof
malfunctionornon-usependingcompletionofrepairsunderthesewarranties.
Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantability(thattheproductistforordinaryuse)and
tnessforuse(thattheproductistforaparticularpurpose)arelimitedtotheduration
oftheexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,or
limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheaboveexclusionsmaynot
applytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStatesorCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStatesorCanada
shouldcontacttheirToroDistributor(Dealer)toobtainguaranteepoliciesforyour
country,province,orstate.IfforanyreasonyouaredissatisedwithyourDistributor's
serviceorhavedifcultyobtainingguaranteeinformation,contacttheToroimporter.If
allotherremediesfail,youmaycontactusatToroWarrantyCompany.
