1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,remove
anyattachment,engagetheparkingbrake,raise
theloaderarms,andinstallthecylinderlocks.
2.Shutoffthemachineandremovethekey.
3.Removethehood.
4.Placeadrainpanunderthelter.
5.Removetheoldlter(Figure36)andwipethe
surfaceofthelteradapterclean.

gasketonthereplacementlter(Figure36).
7.Installthereplacementhydrauliclterontothe
lteradapter(Figure36).Tightenitclockwise
untiltherubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,
thentightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
8.Cleanupanyspilleduid.
9.Startthemachineandletitrunforabout2
minutestopurgeairfromthesystem.
10.Shutoffthemachineandcheckforleaks.
11.Checktheuidlevelinthehydraulictank;refer
toCheckingtheHydraulic-FluidLevel(page34).
Adduidtoraisetheleveltomarkondipstick.
Donotoverllthetank.
12.Installthehood.
13.Removeandstorethecylinderlocksandlower
theloaderarms.

2.Shutoffthemachineandremovethekey.

4.Placealargedrainpanunderthemachinethat
canholdatleast61L(16USgallons).
5.Removethedrainplugfromthebottomofthe
hydraulictankandallowtheuidtocompletely
drainout(Figure37).
