3.Closethefuelvalvebymovingthefuel-valve
levertotheleft(Figure12).

Carefullyexaminethebladeforsharpnessandwear,
especiallywheretheatandthecurvedpartsmeet
(Figure23A).Becausesandandabrasivematerial
canwearawaythemetalthatconnectstheatand
curvedpartsoftheblade,checkthebladebefore
usingthemachine.Ifyounoticeaslotorwear(Figure
23BandFigure23C),replacetheblade;referto
RemovingtheBlade(page25).

usingthemachine.Ifyounoticethatatabonthe
acceleratorhasbeenworndowntoasharpedgeor
thereisacrack,replacetheaccelerator.
