lever(Figure15)totheleftifyouwillnotbestarting
theenginesoonafterward.

Drive
Thismachinehas3groundspeeds:1(slow),2
(medium),and3(fast);italsohasaNeutral(N)
position.Theself-propel-driveleverislocatedbelow
andbehindthefueltank(Figure16).

Note:Youcanvarythegroundspeedby
increasingordecreasingthedistancebetween
theblade-controlbarandthehandle.Lowerthe
bartodecreasethegroundspeedwhenyouare
makingaturnorifthemachineismovingtoofast
foryou.Ifyoulowerthebartoofar,themachine
stopsself-propelling.Squeezethebarcloserto
thehandletoincreasethegroundspeed.When
youholdthebartightagainstthehandle,the
machineself-propelsatthemaximumground
speed.Movetheself-propel-drivelevertothe
NEUTRALpositionwhenyouusethemachine
fortrimming.
