1.Checkthebalanceofthebladebyplacing
thecenterholeofthebladeoveranailor
screwdrivershankclampedhorizontallyinavise

2.Ifeitherendofthebladerotatesdownward,le
thatend(notthecuttingedgeortheendnear
thecuttingedge)untilneitherendoftheblade

InstallingtheBlade
1.Installasharp,balancedT oroblade,the
accelerator,thelockwasher,andthebladebolt.
Thesailoftheblademustpointtowardthetop
ofthemowerhousingforproperinstallation.
Note:T orquethebladeboltto82N∙m(60ft-lb).
WARNING
Operatingthemachinewithoutthe
acceleratorinplacecancausethe
bladetoex,bend,orbreak,resulting
inseriousinjuryordeathtoyouorto
bystanders.
Donotoperatethemachinewithoutthe
acceleratorinplace.
2.Returnthemachinetotheoperatingposition.
Cleaning
CleaningundertheMachine
Toensurethebestperformance,keeptheunderside
ofthemachineclean.Beespeciallycarefultokeep
thekickersfreeofdebris(Figure31).
