1.Lowertheloaderarms,stoptheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Removedirtandgrimefromtheexternalpartsof
theentiretractionunit,especiallytheengine.Clean
dirtandchafffromtheoutsideoftheenginecylinder
headnsandblowerhousing.
Important:Youcanwashthetractionunit
withmilddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthetractionunit.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallynearthecontrolpanel,engine,
hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
3.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner.
4.Greasethetractionunit;refertoGreasingthe
TractionUnit.
5.Changethecrankcaseoil;refertoServicingthe
EngineOil.
6.Changethecrankcaseoil;refertoServicingthe
EngineOil
7.Removethesparkplugsandchecktheconditionof
each;refertoServicingtheSparkPlugs.
8.Withthesparkplugsremovedfromtheengine,pour
twotablespoonsofengineoilintoeachsparkplug
hole.
9.Placeragsoverthesparkplugholestocatchanyoil
spray,thenusethestartertocranktheengineand
distributetheoilinsidethecylinder.
10.Installthesparkplugs,butdonotinstallthewires
onthesparkplugs.
11.Chargethebattery;refertoServicingtheBattery.
12.Forstorageover30days,preparethetractionunit
asfollows:
A.Addapetroleumbasedstabilizer/conditioner
tofuelinthetank.Followmixinginstructions
fromstabilizermanufacturer.(1oz.perUS
gallon).Donotuseanalcoholbasedstabilizer
(ethanolormethanol).
Note:Fuelstabilizer/conditionerismost
effectivewhenmixedwithfreshgasolineand
usedatalltimes.
B.Runtheenginetodistributeconditionedfuel
throughthefuelsystem(5minutes).
C.Stoptheengine,allowittocoolanddrainthe
fueltankusingapumptypesyphon.
D.Restarttheengineandrunituntilitstops.
E.Choketheengine.
