ChangingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every200hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)
1.Lowertheloaderarms,stoptheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Openthehoodandremovetheleftsidescreen.
3.Loosenthetankcaptorelievepressure.
4.Clampthefuellinesonbothsidesofthefuellter
(Figure36).

5.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclampstogetherand
slidethemawayfromthelter(Figure36).
6.Placeadrainpanunderthefuellinestocatchany
leaks,thenremovethelterfromthefuellines.
7.Slidethefuellinesonthenewfuellterttings,
ensuringthatthearrowonthelterpointsaway
fromthefuellinecomingfromthefueltankand
towardthelinegoingtothefuelpump.
Important:Neverinstalladirtylter.
8.Movethehoseclampsclosetothelter.
9.Removetheclampblockingfuelowandopenthe
fuelvalves.
10.Securethetankcap.
11.Replacethesidescreenandclosethehood.
DrainingtheFuelTank
Incertainconditions,gasolineisextremely
ammableandhighlyexplosive.Areor
explosionfromgasolinecanburnyouand
othersandcandamageproperty.
Draingasolinefromthefueltankwhenthe
engineiscold.Dothisoutdoorsinanopen
area.Wipeupanygasolinethatspills.
Neversmokewhendraininggasoline,and
stayawayfromanopenameorwherea
sparkmayignitethegasolinefumes.

typesyphon.
Note:Nowisthebesttimetoinstallanewfuellter
becausethefueltankisempty.
