WARNING
Ifyoudonotfullyseatthequickattachpins
throughtheattachmentmountplate,the
attachmentcouldfalloffofthetractionunit,
crushingyouorbystanders.
Ensurethatyourquickattachpinsarefully
seatedintheattachmentmountplate.
ConnectingtheHydraulicHoses
Iftheattachmentrequireshydraulicsforoperation,connect
thehydraulichosesasfollows:
1.Stoptheengine.
2.Movetheauxiliaryhydraulicsleverforward,backward,
andbacktoneutraltorelievepressureatthehydraulic
couplers.
3.Movetheauxiliaryhydraulicsleverintothereverse
position.
4.Removetheprotectivecoversfromthehydraulic
couplersonthetractionunit.
5.Ensurethatallforeignmatteriscleanedfromthe
hydraulicconnectors.
6.Pushtheattachmentmaleconnectorintothefemale
connectoronthetractionunit.
Note:Whenyouconnecttheattachmentmale
connectorrst,youwillrelieveanypressurebuiltupin
theattachment.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjected
intotheskinmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliarwith
thisformofinjuryorgangrenemayresult.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrom
pinholeleaksornozzlesthatejecthigh
pressurehydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks,neveruseyourhands.
CAUTION
Hydrauliccouplers,hydrauliclines/valves,
andhydraulicuidmaybehot.Ifyoucontact
hotcomponentsyoumaybeburned.
Weargloveswhenoperatingthehydraulic
couplers.
Allowthetractionunittocoolbefore
touchinghydrauliccomponents.
Donottouchhydraulicuidspills.
7.Pushtheattachmentfemaleconnectorintothemale
connectoronthetractionunit.
8.Conrmthattheconnectionissecurebypullingon
thehoses.
9.Movetheauxiliaryhydraulicslevertoneutral.
RemovinganAttachment
1.Lowertheattachmenttotheground.
2.Stoptheengine.
3.Disengagethequickattachpinsbyturningthemto
theoutside.
4.Iftheattachmentuseshydraulics,movetheauxiliary
hydraulicsleverforward,backward,andbacktoneutral
torelievepressureatthehydrauliccouplers.
5.Iftheattachmentuseshydraulics,slidethecollarback
onthehydrauliccouplersanddisconnectthem.
Important:Connecttheattachment
hosestogethertopreventhydraulicsystem
contaminationduringstorage.
