1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped),andlowerthe
loaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.
4.Connectagreaseguntoeachtting(Figure28
andFigure29).

5.Pumpgreaseintothettingsuntilgreasebegins
tooozeoutofthebearings(approximately3
pumps).
6.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.

•Shutofftheenginebeforecheckingtheoilor
addingoiltothecrankcase.
•Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingor
overspeedtheengine.
•Keepyourhands,feet,face,clothing,andother
bodypartsawayfromthemuferandotherhot
surfaces.
ServicingtheAirCleaner
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Check
theair-lter-serviceindicator.
Every25hours—Removetheair-cleanercover,
cleanoutdebris,andchecktheair-lter-service
indicator.
ServicingtheAir-CleanerCover
andBody
Important:Replacetheair-cleanerlteronly
whentheserviceindicatorshowsred(Figure30).
Changingtheairlterbeforeitisnecessaryonly
increasesthechanceofdirtenteringtheengine
whenyouremovethelter.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped),andlowerthe
loaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Openthehoodandsecuretheproprod(if
applicable).
4.Checktheair-cleanerbodyfordamagethat
couldcauseanairleak.Checkthewholeintake
systemforleaks,damage,orloosehoseclamps.
Replaceorrepairanydamagedcomponents.
5.Releasethelatchesontheaircleanerandpull
theair-cleanercoverofftheair-cleanerbody
(Figure30).
Important:Donotremovetheairlter.
