7.Starttheengineintheothermachine.Letitrunafew
minutes,thenstartyourengine.
8.Removethecablesinthereverseorderofconnection.

CleaningtheTracks
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Withthebucketinstalledandpointingdown,lowerit
intothegroundsothatthefrontofthetractionunit
liftsoffthegroundafewcentimeters(inches).
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Usingawaterhoseorpressurewasher,removedirt
fromeachtracksystem.
Important:Ensurethatyouusehigh-pressurewaterto
washonlythetrackarea.Donotuseahigh-pressure
washertocleantherestofthetractionunit.Donot
usehighpressurewaterbetweenthedrivesprocket
andthetractionunitoryoumaydamagethemotor
seals.High-pressurewashingcandamagetheelectrical
systemandhydraulicvalvesordepletegrease.
Important:Ensurethatyoufullycleantheroadwheels,
thefrontwheel,andthedrivesprocket(Figure53).The
roadwheelsshouldrotatefreelywhenclean.
