WARNING
Ifyoudonotfullyseatthequick-attach
pinsthroughtheattachmentmountplate,
theattachmentcouldfalloffthemachine,
crushingyouorbystanders.
Ensurethatthequick-attachpinsarefully
seatedintheattachmentmountplate.
ConnectingtheHydraulicHoses
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjected
intotheskinmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliarwith
thisformofinjury;otherwise,gangrenemay
result.
Ensurethatallhydraulic-uidhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionandall
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsaretight
beforeapplyingpressuretothehydraulic
system.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrom
pinholeleaksornozzlesthateject
high-pressurehydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks;neveruseyourhands.
CAUTION
Hydrauliccouplers,hydrauliclines/valves,
andhydraulicuidmaybehot.Ifyoucontact
hotcomponents,youmaybeburned.
Weargloveswhenoperatingthehydraulic
couplers.
Allowthemachinetocoolbeforetouching
hydrauliccomponents.
Donottouchhydraulicuidspills.
Iftheattachmentrequireshydraulicsforoperation,
connectthehydraulichosesasfollows:
1.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
2.Movetheauxiliary-hydraulicsleverforward,
backward,andbacktotheNEUTRALpositionto
relievepressureatthehydrauliccouplers.
3.Removetheprotectivecoversfromthehydraulic
connectorsonthemachine.
4.Ensurethatallforeignmatteriscleanedfrom
thehydraulicconnectors.
5.Pushtheattachmentmaleconnectorintothe
femaleconnectoronthemachine.
Note:Whenyouconnecttheattachmentmale
connectorrst,yourelieveanypressurebuilt
upintheattachment.
6.Pushtheattachmentfemaleconnectorontothe
maleconnectoronthemachine.
7.Conrmthattheconnectionissecurebypulling
onthehoses.
