•Seekimmediatemedicalattentionifuidisinjected
intoskin.Injecteduidmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctor.
•Ensurethatallhydraulic-uidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressurehydraulic
uid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
RelievingHydraulic
Pressure
Torelievehydraulicpressurewhiletheengineison,
disengagetheauxiliaryhydraulicsandfullylowerthe
loaderarms.
Torelievethepressurewhiletheengineisoff,move
theauxiliary-hydraulicsleverbetweentheforwardand
reverseowpositionstorelieveauxiliaryhydraulic
pressure,andcycletheloader-arm/attachment-tilt
leverbetweentheforwardpositionstolowerthe
loaderarms(Figure69).
