1. The fuel tank vent is

engine runs with the cap
loosened, replace the
cap.
2. Dirt, water, stale fuel, or
incorrect fuel is in the
fuel system.
2. Drain and ush the fuel
system; add fresh fuel.
3. The air cleaner lters are
dirty.

check for air leaks at fuel
