Lowertheloadbeforesteppingofftheplatform.

Whengoingupordownhill,themachinecould
overturniftheheavyendistowardthedownhill
side.Someonemaybepinnedorseriouslyinjured
bythemachineifitoverturns.
Operateupanddownslopeswiththeheavyendof
themachineuphill.Thisattachmentmakesthe
frontendheavy.
WARNING
Ifthebucketisnotkeptlevelwhilelifting,theload
couldbeinadvertentlydumpedonyou,causing
injury.
Whenliftingthebucket,tiltitforwardtokeepit
levelandpreventitfromspillingbackward.
WARNING
Ifyoudonotfullyseattheattachment-lockingpins
intheholesoftheattachment-mountplate,the
attachmentcouldfalloffthetractionunit,severely
injuringyouorbystanders.
•Ensurethatyoufullyseattheattachment-locking
pinsthroughtheholesintheattachment-mount
platebeforeliftingtheattachment.
•Ensurethattheattachment-mountplateis
freeofanydirtordebristhatmayhinderthe
connectionofthetractionunittotheattachment.

GeneralSafety
Thefollowinginstructionshavebeenadaptedfromthe
ANSI/OPEIandISOstandards.
Preparation
•Neverattempttomakeanyadjustmentswhiletheengine
isrunning,exceptwhenspecicallyrecommendedby
Toro.
•Theoperationofanypoweredmachinecanresultin
foreignobjectsbeingthrownintotheeyes.Alwayswear
eyeprotectionduringoperationorwhileperformingan
adjustmentorrepair.
Operation
•Donotputhandsorfeetnearorunderrotatingparts.
•Exerciseextremecautionwhenoperatingonorcrossing
graveldrives,walks,orroads.Stayalertforhidden
hazardsortrafc.Donotcarrypassengers.
•Afterstrikingaforeignobject,stoptheengine,thoroughly
inspecttheattachmentforanydamage,andrepairthe
damagebeforestartingandoperatingtheattachment.
•Iftheunitshouldstarttovibrateabnormally,stopthe
engineandcheckimmediatelyforthecause.Vibrationis
generallyawarningoftrouble.
•Stoptheenginewheneveryouleavetheoperatingposition
andwhenmakinganyrepairs,adjustments,orinspections.
•Whencleaning,repairing,orinspectingthemachine,stop
theengineandensurethatallmovingpartshavestopped.
