fromtheelectricaloutlet,thendisconnectthecharger
leadsfromthebatteryposts(Figure1).

Beforestartingtheengineforthersttime,checktheengine
oilandhydraulicuidlevels.RefertotheOperator’sManual
formoreinformation.
SettingtheEngineRPM(CE
Only)
IfyouaresettingupthismachineforuseintheEuropean
Community,youneedtopermanentlyadjusttheenginespeed
sothatitdoesnotrunabove3200RPM,asfollows:
1.Starttheengineandrunitathalfthrottlefor5to10
minutestowarmitup.
Important:Theenginemustbewarmbefore
makingthisadjustment.
2.MovethethrottlelevertotheFastposition.
3.Checktheenginespeedusingatachometer.Itshould
bearound3600RPM.
4.Loosenthejamnutsecuringthehighidleadjusting
screwontheengine(locatedonthethrottlecable
supportbracket—Figure2).
