Whentransportingthemachineonatrailer,alwaysusethe
followingprocedure:
Important:Donotoperateordrivethemachineon
roadways.
1.Stoptheengine.
2.Lowerthegrinder.
3.Securethemachinetothetrailerwithchainsorstraps
usingthetie-down/liftloopsatthefrontandrearof
themachine(Figure24andFigure25).Refertoyour
localordinancesfortrailerandtie-downrequirements.

Youcanliftthemachineusingthetie-down/liftloopsaslift
points(Figure24andFigure25).
OperatingTips
•Cleantheareaoftrash,branchesandrocksbefore
operatingtopreventequipmentdamage.
•Alwaysusefullthrottle(maximumenginespeed)when
grinding.
•Cuttheedgesofthestumpformoreefcientgrinding.
Onceyourcuttingswathiscloseto1/4ofthewheel
diameter(),liftthegrinder,moveforwardandbegin
cuttingontheedgeagain.

•Listentotheengineandwatchthegrinderwheelspeed
tomaintainthespeedofthewheel.Slowdownthehead
sweepbyfeatheringthejoystickascuttingbecomes
difcult.
•Asyougrindfromlefttoright,mostofthedebriswillgo
totheleftofthegrinderwheel.Whenyougrindfromthe
righttoleft,thedebriswillgototheright.
•Youmayalsogrindastumpfromthesidetolessenturf
damage.
