loosemountingsupports,wear,weather,
andchemicaldeteriorationandrepairif
necessary.
Every1,500hours/Every2years
(whichevercomesrst)—Replaceall
movinghydraulichoses.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjectedinto
theskinmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththisformofinjury
organgrenemayresult.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks,
neveruseyourhands.

ReplacingtheTeeth
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Checkthe
conditionoftheteethandrotateor
replaceanythatarewornordamaged.
Duetothehighamountofwearplacedontheteeth,youwill
needtorotateandreplacethemperiodically.

Eachtoothisindexedwiththreepositionssoyoucanrotate
ittwice,exposinganewsharpedgebeforereplacingthe
tooth.Torotateatooth,loosenthenutsecuringthetooth
(
Figure58).Pushthetoothforwardandrotateitonethird
ofaturn,bringinganunusededgetotheoutside.Torquethe
nutsecuringthetooththto27to33ft-lb(37to45N-m).
Toreplaceatooth,removethenutsecuringthetoothto
removeit,theninstallanewtoothandnutinthesame
position(Figure58).Torquethenutsecuringthetooththto
27to33ft-lb(37to45N-m).
