Thedistancebetweenthescraperbladeandthe
groundiscontrolledbyskidsoneachsideofthe
housing.Adjusttheheightsothatthescraperblade
doesnotcatchonunevensurfaces.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandengage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped).
2.Raisethesnowthrower30cm(12inches)off
theground.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Removethenuts,washers,andboltssecuring
theskidstothehousing.

OperatingtheSnow
Thrower
Usethedetentposition(ifapplicable)asyouoperate
thesnowthrower.Settheenginespeedtolowthrottle
andengagetheauxiliaryhydrauliccontrolstostart
theauger.
Note:Thefanshouldspinclockwise,andtheauger
shouldspincounterclockwisewhenviewedfromthe
leftsidefromtheoperatingposition.Ifthefanorauger
spinsinthewrongdirection,switchthecouplerson
thehydraulichoses.
Important:Fortelescopingmachines,operate
thesnowthrowerwiththeloaderarmsretracted;
extendingthearmscoulddamagethewire
harnessandcontrolbox.
