WARNING
Iftheauger/impellerisrunningbutthereisno
snowcomingoutofthedischargechute,the
dischargechutemaybeclogged.
Neveruseyourhandstoclearaclogged
dischargechute.Thiscouldresultinpersonal
injury.
Note:Ifanobjectislodgedintheauger,reversethe
hydraulicow.Ifthisdoesnotdislodgetheobject,
continueasfollows.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandengage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped).
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Disconnectthehydraulichoses.
4.Useasticktoclearthesnowthrower.
5.Connectthehydraulichosesbeforeresuming
operation.
TransportPosition
Whentransportingtheattachment,keepitasclose
tothegroundaspossible,nomorethan15cm(6
inches)abovetheground.Tiltitrearward.

OperatingTips
•Engageanddisengagethesnowthrowerauger
atlowthrottle.
•Usethechutedirectioncontroltorotatethechute
180°sidetoside.
•Whenclearingsnowwhenyoucandischargesnow
onbothsidesofthepath,clearthesnowfromthe
centerofthepathandthenclearoutwards.
•Whenclearingsnowwith1dischargedirection,
clearsnowfurtherfromthedischargeareaand
thencleartowardthedischargearea.
•Usethedeectoranglecontroltomovethechute
deectorupanddowntocontroltheheightand
distancesnowisthrown.
•Removesnowassoonaspossibleafteritfalls.
Thisproducesthebestsnowremovalresults.
•Dischargesnowdownwindwheneverpossible
andoverlapeachpasstoensurecompletesnow
removal.Ifthetracksorwheelsslip,reducethe
forwardspeed.
•Runthesnowthrowerforafewminutesafter
clearingsnowsomovingpartsdonotfreeze.
•Donotoverloadthesnowthrowerbyclearing
snowattoofastarate.Iftheengineslowsdown,
reducetheforwardspeedtosupplymorepowerto
thesnowthrower.
•Donotusethesnowthrowertopushsnow.
Reducetheforwardspeedandallowthesnow
throwertocollectanddischargethesnow.
•Insomesnowandcoldweatherconditions,some
controlsandmovingpartsmayfreeze.Therefore,
whenanycontrolbecomesdifculttooperate,
shutoffthemachineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop;thencheckallpartsforfreezeup.Donot
useexcessiveforcewhentryingtooperate
frozencontrols.Freeallcontrolsandmoving
partsbeforeoperating.
•Whenpossible,dischargesnowthesamedirection
asthewind.
