1.Clampthefuellinebetweenthecarburetorandthefuel
ltertoblockthefuelow.
2.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclampstogetherandslide
awayfromthefuellter(Figure24).

thenremovethelterfromthefuellines(Figure24).
4.Installanewlter,witharrowpointingtowardthe

Tension
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Checkthedrive
belttension.
Note:Inspectthedrivebelttensionbyinsertingametal
scalethroughtheslotontopofthebeltcover(Figure25)
andpressingdownonthescalewithaforcegage.Theforce
shouldmeasure6.5-7.5kg(15±.75lbs)at1cm(0.40inch)
beltdeection.Adjustasrequired.
1.Removetheboltsandwasherssecuringthebeltguard
tomachine.
