OwnerResponsibilities
YoumustmaintainyourToroProductbyfollowingthemaintenance
proceduresdescribedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,
whetherperformedbyadealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Parts
scheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),
arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothescheduledreplacementtime
forthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenanceandadjustmentscan
begroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.

IfyouthinkthatyourT oroProductcontainsadefectinmaterialsor
workmanship,followthisprocedure:
1.ContactyourToroAuthorizedServiceCentertoarrangeserviceofthe

aToroservicecenterinyourarea.
2.Bringyourproofofpurchase(salesreceipt)totheservicecenter
location.Theservicecenterwilldiagnosetheproblemanddetermine
ifitiscoveredunderwarranty.

Notallproductfailuresormalfunctionsthatoccurduringthewarrantyperiod
aredefectsinmaterialsorworkmanship.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnot
coverthefollowing:
•Costofregularmaintenanceorparts,suchasfuel,lubricants,oil
changes,cable/linkageadjustments,tines,clutchesbelts,tires,lters,
sparkplugs,blades,orchipperteeth
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartthathasbeenaltered,misused,neglected,requires
replacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofpropermaintenance
•Pickupanddeliverycharges
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedToro
ServiceCenter
•Failuretofollowthefuelinginstructionsandrequirements(consultthe
Operator'sManualfordetails),suchas:
–Useofoldfuel(morethan1monthold)orfuelwhichcontains
morethan10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-use
over1month
–Improperfuel
•Repairsoradjustmentsduetothefollowing:
–Contaminantsinthefuelsystem
–Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenanceand/oradjustments
•Improperstartingprocedures
•Productfailuresresultingfromtheuseofmodiedorunapproved
accessoriesornon-T oroparts.
•Failurescausedbyoutsideinuence,including,butnotlimitedto,
weather;storagepractices;contamination;ortheuseofunapproved
coolants,lubricants,additives,orchemicals
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorized
ToroServiceDealerusingT oroapprovedreplacementparts.Repairbyan
AuthorizedT oroServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
TheToroCompanyisnotliableforindirect,incidental,or
consequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththeuseoftheToro
Productscoveredbythesewarranties,includinganycostorexpense
ofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduringreasonable
periodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletionofrepairs
underthesewarranties.
Allimpliedwarranties,includingmerchantabilityandtnessfora
particularpurpose,arelimitedtothedurationoftheexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential
damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabove
exclusionsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother
rightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.

CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStates
orCanadashouldcontacttheirToroAuthorizedServiceCentertoobtain
warrantypoliciesforyourcountry,province,orstate.Foradditional

AustralianConsumerLaw
Ourgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedunderthe
AustralianConsumerLaw.Youareentitledtoareplacementorrefundfora
majorfailureandcompensationforanyotherreasonablyforeseeableloss
ordamage.Y ouarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedorreplacedif
thegoodsfailtobeofacceptablequalityandthefailuredoesnotamountto
amajorfailure.
