themfromrollingwhilethemachineisparked.
TowingtheMachine
Beforetowingthemachine,readalloftheinformation
andperformalloftheapplicableproceduresinthis
sectiontoensuresafeandpropertowing.
WARNING
Towingthemachineathighspeedincreases
theriskofahitchmalfunctionandtirefailure.
Higherspeedsalsoincreasethemomentum
ofthemachineandbrakingdistance.Ifthe
machinedetachesfromthetowvehicleathigh
speed,itcouldcausedamagetoproperty,or
injuryordeathtobystanders.
Donotexceed88km/h(55mph)whentowing
themachine.Forpoorroadconditionsor
inclementweather,reducespeedaccordingly.

TowVehicleRequirements
Beforeconnectingthemachinetoyourtowvehicle,
ensurethatyourvehicleispreparedasfollows:
•Ensurethatyourtowvehiclehastowing
capacityfortheweightofthemachine;referto
Specications(page7).
•UseaClass2orlargerreceiver.
•Ensurethatyourtowvehiclehastheappropriate
hitchtotowthemachine;optionsincludea50mm
(2inch)ballhitchorapintlehitch.
•Ensurethattheelectricalconnectorofthetow
vehicleiscompatiblewiththeelectricalconnector
ofthemachine.Themachineusesastandard
4-pin,atplug.Ifyourtowvehiclehasadifferent
typeofplug,obtainanadapterfromanautomotive
partsstore.
