Intake Manifold
Intake Manifold Inspection
•
Inspect the intake manifold for cracks.
•
Cracks not visible to the eye may be detected by using a metal crack
detection system. (Visual color check: commonly found at automotive
parts store.)
If a crack is present in the intake manifold, replace it.
•
Inspect the gasket surfaces for burrs and nicks.
