Procedure
Important:Thereareseveralboomandchainsize
congurationsavailable.RefertoyouAuthorizedService
Dealertoobtaintheappropriateboomandchainto
meetyourrequirements.
1.Stoptheengineandremovethekey.
2.Removethebolt,2saddlewashers,andnutsecuring
thespoilsaugerandremovetheauger(
Figure4).
Note:Savethefastenersforfutureuse.

3.Removethe2bolts,nuts,anddoublewashersfromthe
sidesoftheboom(Figure4).
4.Loosentheadjustingboltandjamnut(Figure4).
5.Slidetheboomoverthearmonthedrivehead.
6.Installthe2bolts,nuts,anddoublewashersremovedin
step
3throughtheboomandarm,butdonottighten
them.
7.Ifthechainisnotconnected,connectthelinksby
pressingorhammeringtheclevispinsuppliedwiththe
chainthroughthelinks.
Important:Toavoidbendingthechainlinks,
placeblocksunderandbetweenthelinkswhen
hammeringtheclevispinthrough.
8.Securetheclevispinwiththecotterpinsuppliedwith
thechain.
9.Loopthediggingchainovertheaugerdriveshaftand
ontothedrivesprocket,ensuringthatthediggingteeth
pointforwardontheupperspan.
