KeySwitch,ElectricStartModels
Thekeyswitchhasthreepositions:Off,Run,andStart.
Tostarttheengine,rotatethekeytotheStartposition.
Releasethekeywhenenginestartsanditwillmove
automaticallytotheRunposition.
Tostoptheengine,rotatethekeytotheOffposition.
ThrottleLever
Movethecontrolforwardtoincreasetheenginespeedand
rearwardtodecreasespeed.
ChokeLever
Beforestartingacoldengine,movethechokeleverforward.
Aftertheenginestarts,regulatethechoketokeeptheengine
runningsmoothly.Assoonaspossible,movethechokelever
allthewayrearward.
Note:Awarmenginerequireslittleornochoking.
HourMeter
Whentheengineisoff,thehourmeterdisplaysthenumber
ofhoursofoperationthathavebeenloggedonthemachine.
ReferenceBar
Whendrivingthemachine,usethereferencebarasahandle
andaleveragepointforcontrollingthetractioncontroland
thetrenchercontrollever.Toensuresmooth,controlled
operation,donottakebothhandsoffofthereferencebar
whileoperatingthemachine.
