Note:Determinetheleftandrightsidesofthemachinefromthenormaloperatingposition.
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyinthekeyswitch,someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineandseriously
injureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromthekeyswitchanddisconnectthewiresfromthesparkplugsbefore
youdoanymaintenance.Setthewiresasidesothattheydonotaccidentallycontactthe
sparkplugs.
MaintenanceSafety
Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
thetrencherhydraulics,lowertheboom,engage
theparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,andremove
thekey.Waitforallmovementtostopandallow
themachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,cleaning,
storing,orrepairingit.
Cleanupoilorfuelspills.
Donotallowuntrainedpersonneltoservicethe
machine.
Usejackstandstosupportthecomponentswhen
required.
Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
Disconnectthebatterybeforemakinganyrepairs.
Keepyourhandsandfeetawayfromthemoving
parts.Ifpossible,donotmakeadjustmentswith
theenginerunning.
Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandall
hardwaretightened.Replaceallwornordamaged
decals.
Donottamperwiththesafetydevices.
UseonlygenuineTororeplacementparts.
