BeltMaintenance
ReplacingthePumpDriveBelt
Ifthepumpdrivebeltbeginstosquealoriscracked,worn,
orfrayed,replaceit.ContactyouAuthorizedServiceDealer
forareplacementbelt.
1.Raisetheboomandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisethebackofthemachineandsupportitonjack
stands.
4.Removethebottomshield;refertoRemovingthe
BottomShield(page23).
5.Loosenthe2pumpbolts(Figure52).

10.Installtheidlerpulleyspringonthebolt.
11.Ensurethatthespidercouplerisinplaceonthepump
andtheninsertitintothepulley,twistingitclockwise
toseatitonthepumpbolts.
12.Torquethepumpboltsto68N-m(50ft-lb).
13.Installthebottomshield.
