THIS KIT FITS ALL OLATHE MODEL 23’s AND

TORO 2300 SERIAL NUMBERS 30380 AND

BELOW.

1. Remove the two bolts that attach the existing

valve to the frame. Leave all hydraulic lines

attached to the valve and allow the valve assembly

to drop downward.

2. Attach the template to the existing valve holes

as shown in Fig. 1. Drill two 1/8" pilot holes in the

two holes in the template. Remove template.

3. Drill two holes to .344 diameter (8.7 mm).

4. Drain air pressure from the tank.

5. Drain the hydraulic oil (approx. 2 gallons) from

the tank and set aside.

6. Place the three 45 degree fittings in the A, B,

and T2 ports in the valve. Place the straight fitting

in the C port. Place the 90 degree fitting in the T1

port. The reducer is attached to the 90 degree

fitting in port T1. See Fig. 2.

7. Remove the hydraulic hose that goes to the

conveyor motor from the existing valve. Attach it to

the C port on the new valve.

Remove the hydraulic line that goes to the brush motor and attach it to port T2 on the new valve. 10. Disconnect the old valve and both check valves from the filter and discard. 11. Remove the hydraulic fittings between the filter and the old valve from the filter. Discard. FILTER T1 A C 12.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (Continued) 15. Route the wire harness (01-606-0420) through the tongue on the Topdresser towards the rear of the Workman. 17. Plug the wire harness (01-606-0410) into the harness as shown in Fig. 4. Plug the other end into the wire harness(01-606-0420) previously installed, that connects to the valve. 16. On the left hand side of the Workman, separate the harness going into the taillights as shown in Fig. 4.
