linesforleaks,loosettings,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,
weather,andchemicaldeterioration
andrepairifnecessary.
Every1,500hours/Every2years
(whichevercomesrst)—Replaceall
movinghydraulichoses.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjectedinto
theskinmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththisformofinjury
organgrenemayresult.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks,
neveruseyourhands.

ReplacingtheTeeth
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Checkthe
conditionoftheteethandrotateor
replaceanythatarewornordamaged.
Duetothehighamountofwearplacedontheteeth,you
willneedtorotateandreplacethemperiodically.

canrotateittwice,exposinganewsharpedgebefore
replacingthetooth.Torotateatooth,loosenthenut
securingthetooth(Figure57).Pushthetoothforward
androtateitonethirdofaturn,bringinganunusededge
totheoutside.Torquethenutsecuringthetooththto27
to33ft-lb(37to45N-m).
Toreplaceatooth,removethenutsecuringthetooth
toremoveit,theninstallanewtoothandnutinthe
sameposition(
