8-8 STARTER SYSTEM
Electric Starter System
•
Remove the insulator [A].
•
Remove the springs [A].
•
Free the brushes [B] from the brush holder [C].
•
Remove:
Brush Holder [A]
Yoke [B]
•
Remove the armature assembly [A] with pinion gear fork
[B].
•
Remove the front stopper [A].
•
Push the rear stopper [B] downward and remove the snap
ring [C].
•
Pull the rear stopper and pinion clutch [D] from the arma-
ture shaft.
