Remove:
Through Bolts [A]
Brush Plate Assembly [B]
•
Remove:
York [A]
Nut [B]
Washer [C]
Spring [D]
Pinion Gear [E]
Rubber Damper [F]
Collar [G]
End Cover [H]
Starter Motor Assembly
FX Models
•
Apply a small amount of grease to the armature shaft [A]
as shown in the figure.
•
Do not reuse the snap ring [B]. Replace it with a new one.
•
Ins
pect the boots [A], grommet [B] and rubber insert [C]
for visible damage.
If it is damaged, replace the related parts.
