Inspectthebladeperiodicallyforwearor
damage.
Replaceawornordamagedblade.
9.Removethe4carriageboltsandlocknutssecuringthe
cuttingbladeassembly(Figure25),andremoveitfrom
theforkmountingbracket.

10.Removethe2boltsandwashersattachingthepulley
tothebearing.Loosenthesetscrewsonthebearing,
andslidethekeyofftheshaft(Figure25).Removethe
bearingandpulleybyremovingthebearingfasteners
fromtheforkmountingbracket.
11.Loosenthe2setscrewslocatedontheangedbearing,
andslidethebearingoffoftheshaft.
12.Loosenandremovetheslicer-shaftnutandpulley
spacerfromtheshaft.
13.Carefullyslidethealternatingbladesandspacersoffof
theshaft,andreplacethemasnecessary.
14.Reversetheproceduretoinstalltheassembly.
Note:Rotateeachblade1/6turnfromtheprevious
blade.

Incorrectinstallationofthebladeor
componentsusedtoretainthebladecan
bedangerous.Failuretousealloriginal
componentsandassembledasshowncould
allowabladeorbladecomponenttobethrown
outfromunderthedeckresultinginserious
personalinjuryordeath.
AlwaysinstallToroblades,bladedrivers,and
bladeboltsasshown.
15.Returnthemachinetotheuprightposition.
16.Connectthewiretothesparkplug.
