CheckingtheHydrostatic
DriveBelt
ServiceInterval:Every25hours
1.Raisethetines,stopthemachine,stoptheengine,and
disconnectthespark-plugwire.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachinetogainaccesstothe
pump-drivebeltandblockitinplace.
CAUTION
Ifyoudonotsecurelyblockupthefrontofthe
machine,themachinecouldfallonyouduring
service,injuringyou.
Ensurethatyouplaceajackstandorblock
underthefrontofthemachinetoholditup
securely.
Important:Donotraisetherearofthemachine.
Raisingtherearofthemachinewillcausethe
enginetooodandtheaircleanertobefouled
withgasoline.
3.Pushonaspanofthedrivebeltwith9kg(20lb)of
force(Figure29).

2.Squeezetheself-propelbailtothehandleuntilthe
transmissionisfullystroked.
