1.Raisethetines,stopthemachine,stoptheengine,and
disconnectthesparkplugwire.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachinetogainaccesstothe
chainsandblockitinplace.
CAUTION
Ifyoudonotsecurelyblocktheupthefront
ofthemachine,themachinecouldfallonyou
duringservice,injuringyou.
Ensurethatyouplaceajackstandorblock
underthefrontofthemachinetoholditup
securely.
Important:Donotraisetherearofthemachine.
Raisingtherearofthemachinewillcasuethe
enginetooodandtheaircleanertobefouled
withgasoline.
3.Pulldownoneachchainneartheopeningintheframe
with9kg(20pounds)offorce(
Figure32).Ifachain
exesmorethan3mm(1/8inch),tightenitasfollows:
