1.TurntheignitionkeytotheSTARTposition(Figure13).

Note:Whentheenginestarts,releasethekey.

Important:Donotengagethestarterformore

than5secondsatatime.Iftheenginefailsto

start,wait15secondsbetweenattempts.Failureto

followtheseinstructionscanburnoutthestarter

motor.

Note:Youmayneedmultipleattemptstostartthe

enginewhenyoustartitthersttimeafterthefuel

systemhasbeenwithoutfuelcompletely.

1.MovethethrottleleverforwardpasttheFASTposition

andholditagainsttheforwardstoptoactivatethe

choke.

throttleleverbacktotheFASTposition.

1.Releasetheblade-controlclutchtodisengagetheblade.

2.TurntheignitionswitchtotheOFFpositionand

removethekey.

Tomovethemachineforward,squeezethetractioncontrol

towardthehandgrip(Figure13).

Tomovethemachinerearward,pushthethumbpaddownto

movethetractioncontrolawayfromthehandgrip(Figure

13).

Themoreyoumovethetractioncontrolineitherdirection,

thefasterthemachinemovesinthatdirection.

Todisengagethetractiondrive,releasethetractioncontrol.
