Tomovethemachineforward,squeezethetraction
controltowardthehandgrip(Figure12).
Tomovethemachinerearward,pushthethumbpad
downtomovethetractioncontrolawayfromthehand
grip(Figure12).
Themoreyoumovethetractioncontrolineither
direction,thefasterthemachinemovesinthat
direction.
Todisengagethetractiondrive,releasethetraction
control.

Thismachineiscapableofcuttingbrushandsaplings
upto1.8m(6feet)talland5.1cm(2inches)in
diameter.Thecuttingdeckpivotstofollowthecontour
ofthegroundasyoumovethemachine.
Toengagetheblade,useyourrighthandtoopenthe
safetylatchandthenuseyourlefthandtosqueeze
theblade-controlclutchtothelefthandle(Figure12).
Todisengagetheblade,releasetheblade-control
clutch.

•Shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.Wait
forallmovementtostopandallowthemachine

storingthemachineinanyenclosure.
•Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheateroronotherappliances.
HaulingSafety
•Removetheignitionkey(ifequipped)before
loadingthemachineforhauling.
•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine.
•Securethemachinefromrolling.
