8.Oncethedesiredheightisreached,securethepinon
eachcasterwheel.Recheckthesweepingarea.

1.Disengagethebroomandstoptheengine.
2.Waitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Pushtheleverdownusingtherighthandthumb
(Figure5).
4.Squeezetheleftwheelclutchlevertothehandleand
pushthebroomhousingtothedesiredangle;the
broomcanrotate19°totherightorleft,orstraight
ahead.
5.Oncethebroomispositioned,releasethebroomangle
lever.Releasetheleftwheelclutchleverandmakesure
thebroomislockedintoplace.
ClearingaCloggedBroom
WARNING
Therotatingbroomcouldcauseseriousinjury.
Alwaysusecautionwhencleaningthebroom.
Ifthebroombecomesclogged,stayintheoperating
positionandreleasethelefthandtractiondrivelever.
Whileengagingthebroom,pushdownonthehandlesto
raisethefrontofthemachineafewcentimeters(inches)
offthepavement.Thenliftthehandlesquicklytobump
