FinishingtheJob
Completethefollowingaftereachdayofuse:
•Connectthehandsprayguntothepumpandcleanthe
machinewithcleanwater;refertoFinishingtheJob(page
30).
•Addgreasetothegreasettings.
•Iftheairtemperatureisbelowfreezingorwillbebefore
thenextuse,preparethesystemforcoldweather.
•Installthecontrolscovers.
•Flushthedrillinguidoutofthedrilling-uidpumpwith
waterorantifreeze.
Note:Thedrilling-uidpumpmaybedamagedifthe
drilling-uiddriesupinthepump.

AdjustingtheApplicatorNozzle
Youcanadjusttheapplicatornozzletospraythread-joint
compound(TJC)eitherinafan-shapedsprayorasastream.
•Forfan-shapedspray—turnthesprayvalveontheside
ofthenozzlehorizontal(Figure33).
•Forastream—turnthesprayvalveonthesideofthe
nozzlevertical(Figure33).
