FinishingtheJob
Completethefollowingaftereachdayofuse:
•Connectthehandsprayguntothequickdisconnect
locatedattherearcompartment,andcleanthemachine
withcleanwater;refertoCleaningwiththeSpray-Hose
Attachment(page98).
•Addgreasetothegreasettings;refertoGreasingthe
Machine(page67).
•Iftheairtemperatureisbelowfreezingorwillbebefore
thenextuse,refertoPreparingtheDrilling-FluidSystem
forColdWeather(page95).
•Installthecontrolscovers;refertoOperator-Controls
Covers(page24).
•Flushthedrillinguidoutofthedrilling-uidpumpwith
waterorantifreeze.
Important:Thedrilling-uidpumpmaybe
damagedifthedrilling-uiddriesupinthepump.

AdjustingtheApplicatorNozzle
Youcanadjusttheapplicatornozzletospraythread-joint
compound(TJC)eitherinafan-shapedsprayorasastream.
•Forfan-shapedspray,turnthesprayvalveonthesideof
thenozzlehorizontal(Figure55).
•Forastream,turnthesprayvalveonthesideofthe
nozzlevertical(Figure55).
