•Donottouchpartswhichmaybehotfromoperation.
Allowthemtocoolbeforeattemptingtomaintain,adjust,
orservice.
•Lowerthethrustframe,stoptheengine,andremove
thekey.Waitforallmovementtostopbeforeadjusting,
cleaning,orrepairing.
•Cleandebrisfromattachments,drives,mufers,and
enginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
•Lettheenginecoolbeforestoring,anddonotstorenear
aame.
•Donotstorefuelnearamesordrainindoors.
•Parkthemachineonlevelground.
•Donotallowuntrainedpersonneltoservicethemachine.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswithstored
energy.
•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Ifpossible,
donotmakeadjustmentswiththeenginerunning.
•Disconnectthebatterybeforemakinganyrepairs.
Disconnectthenegativeterminalrstandthepositive
last.Reconnectpositiverstandnegativelast.
•Chargebatteriesinanopen,wellventilatedarea,away
fromsparkandames.Unplugthechargerbefore
connectingordisconnectingitfromthebattery.Wear
protectiveclothinganduseinsulatedtools.
•Batteryacidispoisonousandcancauseburns.Avoid
contactwithskin,eyes,andclothing.Protectyourface,
eyes,andclothingwhenworkingwithabattery.
•Batterygasescanexplode.Keepcigarettes,sparksand
amesawayfromthebattery.
•Keepallpartsingood-workingconditionandallhardware
tightened.Replaceallwornordamageddecals.
•Ifanymaintenanceorrepairrequirestheframetobe
intheraisedposition,securetheframeintheraised
positionwiththehydrauliccylinderlock;refertoUsing
theCylinderLock(page82).
•Keepnutsandboltstight.
•Keepequipmentingoodcondition.
•Donottamperwithsafetydevices.

•UseonlygenuineTororeplacementpartstoensurethat
originalstandardsaremaintained.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinholeleaks
ornozzlesthatejecthighpressurehydraulicuid.Use
cardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks;donotuse
yourhands.Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjuryrequiringsurgerywithina
fewhoursbyaqualiedsurgeonorgangrenemayresult.
