ServiceInterval:Every250hours
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
andremovetheignitionkey.
WARNING
Allowtheengineandoiltocoolbefore
drainingtheoil.Hotoilmaycauseserious
injury.
2.Ensurethatthedrainhose(Figure124)iscarefully
pulledupandtheendofthehoseisplacedinadrain
pan.

5.Whentheoilstops,closethedrainvalve(Figure124).

8.Removetheoil-llcapfromthellerneckbypulling
thecapupward.

9.Fillthecrankcasewithapproximately7.5L(7.9US

10.Installtheoil-llcap.
11.Starttheengine,runitatidleforabout2minutes,and
checkforoilleaks.
12.Stoptheengineandremovethekey.
13.Waitfor2or3minutesandchecktheoillevel;referto
CheckingtheEngine-oilLevel(page88).

themachine,fortheadjustmentprocedure.
