Installing the Wire Harness 3. Assemble the adapter parts with pipe putty or pipe-sealant tape and install it to the machine bracket as follows: 1. Plug the wire harness into the connector near the pump inlet (Figure 3). Note: Fittings sealed with o-rings do not require pipe putty or pipe-sealant tape. 2. Plug the opposite end of the wire harness to the air hammer. A. Install the straight fitting, ball valve, and straight fitting with swivel to the hose and existing hardware (Figure 2). B.
