Pre-MaintenanceSafety
•Beforeadjusting,cleaning,repairing,orleaving
themachine,dothefollowing:
–Movethemachineonalevelsurface.
–Shutoffthemachine.
–Turnthebattery-disconnectswitchtotheOFF
position.
–Waitforallmovingpartstostop.
–Allowmachinecomponentstocoolbefore
performingmaintenance.
•Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
•Useadequatesupporttosupportthemachineor
componentswhenrequired.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
OpeningtheFrontHood
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.LiftuponthelatchasshowninFigure69.
